Clarity Stamps with Leonie Pujol

Clarity Stamps – Frameless Stencils – Leonie Pujol – Hochanda – 25th January 2019

Hello and thank you for looking in. 
Below are a few of my finished examples for Leonie's shows today and the BIG bonus is I have 52 leftover prints to use as backgrounds in days to come!
Doodling over the print for the first example was so therapeutic, I will have to do more of this!

Example 1


Materials:-
Stencils – ‘Bubbles and Drips,’ ‘Ovals and Rounds’
Stamps
·         Shoe
Dies
·         Cornflower
Ink Pads
·         Artistry Sets
·         Radiance – Black
·         Grey
Miscellany
·         Coloured Micron Pens
·         Gems
·         Stencil Card
·         Gel Press
·         Card Blank
Instructions:-
1.       Ink stencil with Fancy Fuchsia and run through die-cutting machine onto stencil card.
2.       Doodle around image with pink and purple Micron pens.
3.       Edge with purple alcohol marker and layer onto card blank.
4.       Add Fancy Fuchsia to Gel Press, brayer over; place stencil card over and pull print.
5.       Remove stencil and pull print ‘negative.
6.       Repeat process with grey ink onto blank stencil card.
7.       Stamp shoe twice with Radiance black onto grey print and once with Fancy Fuchsia over pink print. Cut out
8.       Layer up and add to card using foam pads.
9.       Add flower die-cut using grey print off-cuts and Cornflower die.
10.   Decorate with gems.

Instructions
1.       Dab Lime Kiss, Avocado and Fancy Fuchsia over gel press; brayer to smooth.
2.       Place stencil over and pull prints. Cut centre out using Nested Circles set. Set aside.
3.       Cut watercolour paper with Cornflower die; trim using Nested Circles set.
4.       Dab Fancy Fuchsia, Blue Haze and Avocado onto craft sheet, spritz with water and mop up colour using die-cut floral image. When dry, add over Indian Summer card.
5.       Attach stenciled image over, layer onto pink card and attach to card blank.
6.       Add frame cut using Nested Circles.
7.       Decorate.

Instructions
1.       Using ‘ink to paper’ method, drag chosen Artistry colours in stripes across stencil card. Spritz generously with water, add stencil, place blank sheet of stencil card over; run through die-cutting machine.
2.       Outline either with stencil in place or free hand – the latter following the embossing – with Micron pen.
3.       Cut three apertures into main image using Nested Circles 9th largest.
4.       Using NO1 stamp from Three Way Overlay set, stamp Marigold three times onto stencil card. Colour using No2 and No3 stamps. Glue one behind each aperture.
5.       Trim stencilled image, edge with black alcohol marker and layer onto Brighton Rock Designer Paper, pale linen card and finally onto a black card blank.
6.       Cut a narrow matte black card frame using Square Picot set – largest, trimming back outside perimeter - and circular frames with Nested Circles 8th, 9th largest, attaching each in place.  
7.       Add circular black frames which have been decorated with Perga glitter.

Materials:-
Stencil
·         ‘Ovals and Rounds’
Dies
·         Nested Circles – 2nd, 5th largest for stencilled frame; 3rd, 4th largest for black frame; marigold image - 4th largest; central circle – 5th largest
·         Cornflower
Card/Paper
·         Stencil
·         Black Glitter
Ink Pads
·         Artistry Sets
Miscellany
·         Gems
·         Ribbon
·         Gel Press
NB - this card was made from only two squares; glitter card measuring 6” x 6” trimmed marginally and a square of stencil card.
Instructions
1.       Dab chosen inks over Gel Press and brayer to spread evenly. Place stencil over and pull a print using stencil card.
2.       Using Nested Circles, cut aperture from centre (5th largest), reserve. Cut larger circular frame from same piece of card 2nd largest. Reserve left over card.
3.       Cut Marigold from black glitter card – 4th largest; cut larger frame – 3rd, 4th largest. Reserve left over card.
4.       Layer glitter square (what is left of it) over stencilled square (remainder.) Attach marigold over stencilled circle and glue in central aperture.
5.       Attach stencilled circular frame over and black glitter frame over that.
Add to card blank and decorate.


. . . . . . . And the rest - a great pity displaying all 52 was impossible!
