Hello and thank you for taking the time to visit this page.

Here are the instructions for some of my examples I submitted for Barbara's show on Thursday, live from the NEC. I hope these few examples will encourage you to 'have a go!' These dies will become a staple in my collection, I think!

 Monochrome Card

Materials:-

·         Dove Heart Die

·         Nested Hearts

·         Black, White Parchment

·         Matte Black Card

·         Theuva

·         White Card Blank

Instructions:-

1.       Cut frame from black card using largest and second largest Nested Hearts.

2.       Cut largest heart from white parchment and attach to base of black frame.

3.       Cut heart shaped card blank using 2^nd largest Nested Heart. Cut out centres from these using 3^rd largest die. Score horizontally across card front. Attach heart card base inside black frame.

4.       Cut black card heart using 3^rd largest die. Attach inside white heart on base.

5.       Cut single heart frame using 2^nd and 3^rd dies from white card and heart (3^rd largest die) from black parchment. Attach black parchment to reverse of white frame. Glue to foot of heart easel.

6.       Cut two white and one Dove Heart image and superimpose, slightly offset, black over white. Glue together. Trim to fit and attach inside frame.

7.       Cut a few hearts of smallest size, glue together and attach as stopper.

8.       Decorate with heart button and thread.

Heart Aperture Card

Materials:-

·         Deer Heart

·         Nested Hearts

·         Rainbow River

·         Double Sided Sticky Sheet

·         Perga Glitter – Copper

Instructions:-

1.       Trim Rainbow River two sheets of Rainbow River paper to fit chosen card blank and edge with black pen.

2.       Attach one sheet to front of card. Cut aperture centrally from card front and retain ‘waste.’

3.       Attach second sheet to inside of card front and cut aperture using 3^rd largest Nested Heart.

4.       Cut deer heart from waste and apply double sided sticky to reverse. Add glitter.

5.       Using larger waste heart as a backing, add to inside of card.

Heart to Heart

Materials:-

·         Nested Hearts

·         Indian Summer Paper

·         White Card

·         Black Card

·         6 x 6 Card Blank

Instructions:-

1.       Cut a white square to measure 13cm x 13cm. Cut one Nested Heart die at an angle into this square. Position the die at a different angle and cut again to create a double aperture.

2.       Back with Designer Paper. Layer onto black and white squares before adding to card blank.

3.       Cut two black and two orange frames and place over apertures.

4.       Add smallest hearts and thread to decorate.
