Clarity Stamps - Fresh Cut Dies
The remaining examples from the Clarity Stamps Fresh Cut Dies Shows last week. Please check out the final example - tried out the Gemini Foiling Machine!

Example 1

Materials:-
Dies:-
·         The Earth
·         Nested Rectangles
Card/Paper:-
·         Matte Black
·         Hand-made Paper – unbleached
·         Card Blank – 1 x  6” x 6” – black
Instructions:-
1.       Cut ‘The Earth’ from matte black card.
2.       Layer onto hand-made paper, matte black and more hand-made paper.
3.       Attach to card blank.
4.       Add strip from off-cuts down margin and decorate.



 Example 2


  Materials:-
Dies:-
·         Be Still
·         Nested Rectangles
Card/Paper:-
·         Theuva
·         Matte Black
·         Coloured
·         Pearlescent Gold Kraft
Miscellany
·         Gold Foil
Instructions:-
1.       Cut sheet of Theuva in half and emboss using foiling machine and Be Still die.
2.       Cut image once each from other half of Theuva card, matte black and coloured card.
3.       Trim images leaving narrow border using Nested Rectangles set/craft knife/guillotine.
4.       Trim words out from matte black image and attach behind cut white image.
5.       Add over embossed image, allowing the gold embossing to show.
6.       Trim out the words from the coloured image and reserve for another project.
7.       Add coloured frame containing birds and flowers over white image.
8.       Fold gold kraft card in half and trim to form card blank.
9.       Add die-cut image over.

 Example 3


Materials:-
Dies:-
·         Be Still
·         Nested Rectangles
Card/Paper:-
·         Hand-made turquoise
·         Designer Card – Northern Lights
·         White pearlescent shimmer
·         Gold Mirror
·         Card Blank – Black 6” x 6” – trimmed.
Miscellany
·         Gems
Instructions:-
1.       Cut image once each from hand-made paper and white card. (Sandwich the hand-made paper between copy-paper to obtain a cleaner cut.)
2.       Trim using Nested Squares set.
3.       Attach hand-made paper image over white, to off-set slightly; glue onto Indian Summer card and trim.
4.       Layer onto gold mirror card and attach to black and trimmed card blank.
5.       Decorate with gems and paper off-cuts.

Example 4

Materials:-
Dies:-
·         Be Still
·         Nested Rectangles
Card/Paper
·         Holographic Silver
·         Matte Black
·         Lilac
·         Pale Green
·         Designer Card – Indian Summer
·         Card Blank
Miscellany:-
·         Star Gems
·         Perga Glue
Instructions:-
1.       Cut image once each from holographic silver, matte black, lilac and green card.
2.       Trim silver image using Nested Rectangle set or by chosen blade and attach over Designer Card. Trim as before.
3.       Attach to card blank.
4.       Trim birds from black card and attach over silver, off-setting slightly.
5.       Trim grass and stems from green and attach as in 4.)
6.       Trim flowers from lilac and attach as in 4.)
7.       Decorate with gems.
Example 5



Materials:-
Dies:-
·         Be Still
·         The Earth
Card/Paper:-
·         White Pearlescent
·         Silver Mirror
·         Designer Paper – Indian Summer
·         Dark Purple Pearlescent
·         Mauve Pearlescent
Instructions:-
1.       Score and fold white pearlescent card to create card blank.
2.       Trim Indian Summer paper to fit card blank front and attach, leaving a minute cream border around the perimeter.
3.       Cut three strips – one each of purple, mauve and silver card to measure 5cm x 21cm.
4.       Cut three images of flowers, side by side, from silver 21cm x 5cm strip. Repeat using mauve strip.
5.       Place silver behind mauve and attach to card front, trimming away excess flowers from edge.
6.       Cut continuous strips of hare into purple card. Attach over flowers.
7.       Cut more hare images – from scraps as only the tail is required – and glue into place.
8.       Cut words from dark purple card, using both dies; repeat with birds from ‘The Earth.’ 
9.       Cut out required words/letters and glue chosen sentiment along top of card.
10.   Trim out birds and add to selected ‘landing posts.’

This one is a little extra which shows that Clarity Fresh Cut Dies also work with the Gemini
Foiling Machine.

·         Be Still
·         Nested Rectangles
Card/Paper:-
·         Pearlescent
·         Bronze Pearlescent
·         Card blank
Miscellany
·         Gold Foil
Instructions:-
1.       Emboss A5 size pearlescent card using foiling machine and gold foil.
2.       Die-cut and emboss a second image using foiling machine.
3.       Trim both images using Nested Rectangles set and layer the die-cut image over the embossed one.
4.       Attach onto bronze rectangle them onto card blank.

Example 1


Materials:-
Stencils – ‘Bubbles and Drips,’ ‘Ovals and Rounds’

Instructions:-
1.       Ink stencil with Fancy Fuchsia and run through die-cutting machine onto stencil card.
2.       Doodle around image with pink and purple Micron pens.
3.       Edge with purple alcohol marker and layer onto card blank.
4.       Add Fancy Fuchsia to Gel Press, brayer over; place stencil card over and pull print.
5.       Remove stencil and pull print ‘negative.
6.       Repeat process with grey ink onto blank stencil card.
7.       Stamp shoe twice with Radiance black onto grey print and once with Fancy Fuchsia over pink print. Cut out
8.       Layer up and add to card using foam pads.
9.       Add flower die-cut using grey print off-cuts and Cornflower die.
10.   Decorate with gems.

Instructions
1.       Dab Lime Kiss, Avocado and Fancy Fuchsia over gel press; brayer to smooth.
2.       Place stencil over and pull prints. Cut centre out using Nested Circles set. Set aside.
3.       Cut watercolour paper with Cornflower die; trim using Nested Circles set.
4.       Dab Fancy Fuchsia, Blue Haze and Avocado onto craft sheet, spritz with water and mop up colour using die-cut floral image. When dry, add over Indian Summer card.
5.       Attach stenciled image over, layer onto pink card and attach to card blank.
6.       Add frame cut using Nested Circles.
7.       Decorate.

Instructions
1.       Using ‘ink to paper’ method, drag chosen Artistry colours in stripes across stencil card. Spritz generously with water, add stencil, place blank sheet of stencil card over; run through die-cutting machine.
2.       Outline either with stencil in place or free hand – the latter following the embossing – with Micron pen.
3.       Cut three apertures into main image using Nested Circles 9th largest.
4.       Using NO1 stamp from Three Way Overlay set, stamp Marigold three times onto stencil card. Colour using No2 and No3 stamps. Glue one behind each aperture.
5.       Trim stencilled image, edge with black alcohol marker and layer onto Brighton Rock Designer Paper, pale linen card and finally onto a black card blank.
6.       Cut a narrow matte black card frame using Square Picot set – largest, trimming back outside perimeter - and circular frames with Nested Circles 8th, 9th largest, attaching each in place.  
7.       Add circular black frames which have been decorated with Perga glitter.

                                                              Example 4


Materials:-
Stencil
·         ‘Ovals and Rounds’
Dies
·         Nested Circles – 2nd, 5th largest for stencilled frame; 3rd, 4th largest for black frame; marigold image - 4th largest; central circle – 5th largest
·         Cornflower
Card/Paper
·         Stencil
·         Black Glitter
Ink Pads
·         Artistry Sets
Miscellany
·         Gems
·         Ribbon
·         Gel Press
NB - this card was made from only two squares; glitter card measuring 6” x 6” trimmed marginally and a square of stencil card.
Instructions
1.       Dab chosen inks over Gel Press and brayer to spread evenly. Place stencil over and pull a print using stencil card.
2.       Using Nested Circles, cut aperture from centre (5th largest), reserve. Cut larger circular frame from same piece of card 2nd largest. Reserve left over card.
3.       Cut Marigold from black glitter card – 4th largest; cut larger frame – 3rd, 4th largest. Reserve left over card.
4.       Layer glitter square (what is left of it) over stencilled square (remainder.) Attach marigold over stencilled circle and glue in central aperture.
5.       Attach stencilled circular frame over and black glitter frame over that.
Add to card blank and decorate.


. . . . . . . And the rest - a great pity displaying all 52 was impossible!
